November of 2013 the Sacramento Bee filed a motion for the release of a 132 minute audiotape of Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme‘s pretrial psychiatric examination while she was being held in jail. 5.21.1975. She sounds strong, hard, and certain.
U.S. District Judge Kimberly J. Mueller granted it’s release.
I have only been able to find a small 19 minute excerpt, so far…

When Susan Atkins’ “confession” was sold to the European press, as entertaining blood curdling propaganda, a magazine called Rolling Stone had something to say about its potentiality for “damaging pretrial publicity”.
The money was split between Lawrence Schiller, Paul Caruso (associate and co-conspirator of Atkins’ attorney, Richard Caballero), and Susan Atkins- variously cited as $150,000 and $175,000.
Titled “The Killing of Sharon Tate”, this confession/scam/cover up/book was “authored” by Lawrence Schiller, a shady journalist.
Jerry Cohen, and Dial Torgerson (LA times journalists) helped Schiller quickly rewrite the Atkins confession into what Nikolas Schreck called “journalese” in his book, “The Manson File Myth and Reality of an Outlaw Shaman”. I am actually paraphrasing from a few pages within a section called, “Making a Killing: Sadie’s Story and the Schiller Scam”, from Chapter VII- The Soul For Sale: Manufacture and Marketing of the Manson Myth.
The publisher of “The Killing of Sharon Tate” was New American Library, a subsidiary of the same company that then owned the Los Angeles times. Nikolas writes, “While the ethical improprieties of the Caruso-Shilling-Times deal led to much criticism from the mainstream press, it was only the then-countercultural organ Rolling Stone who correctly perceived what a massive violation of Manson’s legal rights had been engineered.” ‘What possible justification could the Times editors have had in running the confessions? Where were their heads? Can an individual’s right to a fair trial, free of damaging pretrial publicity, be so relative? Can it be compromised so easily by the fictitious right of the public to be entertained? … If Miss Atkins’ confession does not constitute damaging pretrial publicity, what does? What does the phrase mean? Even if the Times could somehow prove that its confession did Manson absolutely no harm, what right did they have to take the risk? The moral decision must be made before, not after, the fact if a man’s right to an impartial trial is to be taken seriously.’

Thinking about the charade of a word – “justice” – after watching these fools hold a “parole hearing” for Charles on April 11, 2012-
reiterating the crimes of August, 1969, and their severity.
But Charles was not present – at either dates.
Parole Board Puppet, John Peck’s “grave concerns”-
“Since you’ve been incarcerated you have had one hundred and eight (108) 115’s, um, your most recent 115 was on 10.4.2011. for possession of an inmate manufactured weapon”
(an arm of a pair of reading glasses that were “manufactured” as a hobby tool that many inmates possess, which was so “weapon”-like that it could fit into a pen! For which Charles was given a draconian sentence of 15 months in the hole, a small detail conveniently left out)
“that (shaking of the head) concerns us greatly that you are still having weapons in prison, um we also know that you had a cell phone recently also and, uh cell phones
(pause with seriousness and head shake)
are a huge concern to us, uh, you can make unmonitored phone calls with that cell phone, uh you could and be involved in criminal behaviors with that cell phone (shaking of head) um, cell phones um, extremely concern this panel, um…” This guy goes on with plenty more um’s and uh’s and explains how “in this case the life crime does have a difference” and that “this life crime was especially heinous atrocious and cruel. Multiple victims were attacked um, and killed um, many of the victims were abused uh, mutilated uh during and after the offense.

It was truly carried out in a manner that except
that demonstrates exceptionally callous disregard for human suffering
(in context, chronologically, I think of the My Lai massacre of 1968 as but one “exceptionally callous disregard of human suffering” that Pecks beloved country has orchestrated- I think of many others also)
um we have not yet in any of our documents seen any indication of remorse… UM … we have no indication that you have any kind of insight on the causative factors of the life crime. You have absolutely no parole plans um, you had a significant drug problem while you were in society and this drug problem is still unresolved you’ve been involved in absolutely no rehabilitative programs or self help to address your subs abuse history… UM … I think, um, the statement that you made to the psychologist, or the psychiatrist in the (bunkum) assessment told us um a lot of what we needed to know and I’m want to make sure I get this right so I’m just gonna’ read what it- what you told Dr. Reed and you said, um,
‘I AM SPECIAL. I AM NOT LIKE THE AVERAGE INMATE. I HAVE PUT FIVE PEOPLE IN THE GRAVE. I’VE BEEN IN PRISON MOST OF MY LIFE. I AM A VERY DANGEROUS MAN.’
And this panel agrees with that statement.”

“The law has got so old – and so out of touch – with reality.
Because the laws were written on the back of horses.
People had never traveled over 50 miles an hour, they’d had to be running
down hill on a race horse or something like that.
In other words, it took a year to get from New York to California.
It took two or three years to sail around the world – now they do that in a couple hours.
I mean, you know the law doesn’t even fit.
Your International Law is not even covering anything because
you don’t really have no base of operation and law –
you need a One World Government if you’re gonna’ catch up with Law and Order.
The Law and Order is not Law and Order it’s just a movie –
